Reputedly the highest person to have held the office of Prime Minister. Which is going some. And his wife is even richer than he is. There was some thing going on during the heatwave and drought back in the summer about them installing a heated pool at their second or third home. So very much in touch with the real life.

Sooo ... like the black mold of Westminster? Kinda sneaks in when you're not looking, and by the time you notice how much damage it's doing it's damn near impossible to get rid of without burning the whole thing down and rebuilding?

Definitely worse than that.

Every so often (they seem to come round more regularly these days), the Tory party has a few days of absolute meltdown. Such days are immensely entertaining and to be treasured. The couple of days when they realised the latest weird android they'd managed to install in Downing Street was completely malfunctioning and needed to be returned to the factory were such days. We even had to tune into BBC radio from halfway up a mountain in Andalucia to follow something of the story of what was going on in Comedy Britain. Got an alert about the actual resignation while sitting outside a bar in the town square in Alhama de Granada. Politically the most fun days since they had the ticker in the corner of the TV screen showing the number of minister who'd resigned from that honking pudding's cabinet back in the summer.

Nope. UK politics has been a serene mill-pond.

Herewith the procedure for the selection of the next Prime Minister:

Candidates have until 2.00 P.M. on Monday to find 100 backers.
If three reach the threshold, MP's will knock one out in a ballot the same day.

Only the Tories...

Got stuck on the tarmac longer than our flight time due to Air Force 2 landing and bringing SFO to a full-stop.

Didn't get to see the plane. I wanna see our subdued pomp. :)

What I get from these image choices is America* has serious daddy issues.

* Referring, obviously, to the America that is voting for Trump.

They used his early 90’s logo on The Apprentice for decades.
It’d be like Alec Baldwin using his 80’s pics.

They always had a long overcoat over his suit to try and hide his fat ass.
If you’re bald, be bald. If you’re big, shake it!

He’s easily as big as Chris Christie here who I’m sure he referred to as a fat fuck himself.

That flight jacket must be a size 5x and he still couldn’t zip it.
