Did you ever meet someone front of stsge at a pouges gig who literally gave you whisky then put you on a breeze to catmandu?
Great gig, after 27years, one of the best. Just great.
To the girl in front of shane handing round the whisky and coke, cheers.
Firstly, my apologies for this "tired and emotional" post which I blame entirely on modern technology and the ability to access the internet from a mobile phone, not allowing for a cooling off period. I hope I haven't blotted my copy book so soon.
Saturday night was superb. I was in the company of 10 people attending their first Pogues gig and they were all equally impressed by the performance (I caught one guy whistling "Dirty Old Town" at work today).
I came across a blog review of saturdays show, hope it's ok to post here. The first response to it delighted me no end.
