Just found my old phone and downloaded a couple of blurred pics from the gig, I know i had a beer or two but Terry was missing, great gig though, still doesnt feel like xmas without a couple of ticket in the pocket raring to to go, Happy hols everyone, heres hoping for more next year

I was fortuante enough to make the show from the states. I was on vacation in England wiht family and was lucky to score tickets the day before and make the show. Was about a 2 hour train ride from where we were staying near Heathrow but well worth it.. Great show.. Loved the buzzcocks. Hadnt seen them in years but they were awesome although Petes vocals could have been turned up a smidgeon. Hoepfully this was not the last from either of these great bands. Thank you

So at an outdoor gig, where might the db's get assessed? At the mixing board? Outside the venue?

Good question. Common sense would seem to place the decibelometer (?) close to the mixing desk, but we're talking local councils here, so common sense may or may not be a factor.

I know as a band you can only use what your given but I'm always interested by the technical end of things as well at gigs.! I was just curious about it all. I spoke with dave guerin quite a few times in brixton. That's a man that seems to love the job!

Firstly, my apologies for this "tired and emotional" post which I blame entirely on modern technology and the ability to access the internet from a mobile phone, not allowing for a cooling off period. I hope I haven't blotted my copy book so soon.

Saturday night was superb. I was in the company of 10 people attending their first Pogues gig and they were all equally impressed by the performance (I caught one guy whistling "Dirty Old Town" at work today).

I came across a blog review of saturdays show, hope it's ok to post here. The first response to it delighted me no end.

YES BRILLIANT GIG AND EVERYONE SEEMS UNITED IN THE FACT WE LIKE "DIFFERENT" VENUES. GREAT TO HEAR OF EVERYONES
STORIES OF THE NIGHT AND OF THEIR TRAVEL PLANS ETC, THESE THINGS JUST GET HARDER AS TIME GOES ON BUT WELL
WORTH IT OF COURSE. COULD I ASK YOU PHILIP, WHATS NEXT? YOU USUALLY HAVE SOMETHING UP YOUR SLEEVES.
OBVIOUSLY CHRISTMAS LOOKS LIKE A NO NO THIS YEAR, I ACTUALLY THINK THE BAND THEMSELVES WILL MISS THIS AS
MUCH AS US?? DID THE BAND ENJOY PLAYING GREENWICH AS MUCH AS THE GUY WHO CUDDLED SHANE ON STAGE NEAR THE END?
