I have to agree, these are the venues i've seen them in since the re-union of 2001
Birmingham carling academy - shit for getting a drink but top atmosphere
Glasgow Carling academy - Shit for getting a drink and queues for the toilet - great atmosphere
London Brixton Academy-Not great for a drink, bit bigger than Brum - Top Atmosphere, The Pogues own Backyard - a must do venue if you're serious about the band
Birmingham NIA and Nottingham Arena and Dublin Point - Big arena's better for a drink and a piss ( except Dublin which is unbelievably bad for both and as such gets my vote as the worst venue of those i've been to ) and for me these places lose a bit on the atmosphere
New York Nokia Theatre - What a top top venue, fantastic facilities, the best public bogs i've ever been in !, superb bars and a lovely size, maybe cause i was in another country on Paddys day made it better, i don't know but this was a great gig and facility wise easily the best venue i've seen the band in and it was a special atmosphere, paddys day, first New York gig for 15 years
Belfast Nugent Hall / Queens Hall- I'll let you know when i get back but I'm expecting a big atmosphere here
Places i've not yet seen them include Manchester which would appeal more if it was a smaller venue
And of course back in the day when i was but a young carefree soul, many great memories....................
