Yay! I've been looking forward to these. And they do not disappoint :)

That is a GORGEOUS photo.

Way better than the entirety of the set Pitchfork took.

That's not one of Ollin, it's lovely Marc Orrell out of the Dropkicks. Tim Brennan and James Lynch were on there somewhere as well. I think they might have been involved in the feedback at the end.

Yeah, one guy from Ollin picked up Spider for a while, and also hit him on the head with the tray a few times - I hope he hit him in the right spot!
And what is with Shane's eyepatch? Next I expect a parrot on his shoulder.
And it was great to meet and host Medusan spotted for the evening!

That's the one-it took them a day or so to post it. I have some bits and pieces, but did manage to get all of Dirty Old Town..I'll get that up there in the next day or two.

Just got back from LA/ Vegas. Had way too much fun in LA. Vegas was okay, actually kind of sucked. Show wise, they were all good, but LA killed hands down, between Halloween Show, Worms, and the Nov 1st gig. Nov 1st, I drank Mickey's big mouths with some dudes in the parking lot before the show (after the jug of wine a bouight at Ralph's), had a shot of Jameson's with William Elliot Whitmore between sets, threw my last pack of Player's at Shane-o when he was looking for a smoke, and partied with some cool cats afterwards. We went behind the Wiltern after the show. Terry Woods signed my Celtic jersey and thanked us all for coming to the gig. Shane was coming out and Joey Cashman came and took all our shit to get autographed. I got my jersey signed " Jus Kil Em SHane" in scrawl, but Joey was very cool for doing so. William Elliot Whitmore gave me a shout out in Vegas, but the LA shows killed hands down. Can't remember much else excpet the dude in Vegas yelling at Shane to play Nips songs.

So, just out of curiosity, anybody record the Halloween show in its entirety? This is just for posterity's sake.

Here is a video of Bottle of Smoke from the 10/31 wiltern show that I found on youtube.. I'm not sure if it is the same video that Blakemoreln was talking about, though.

Wow, badattitude, I did the same week - Bruce on Monday, Neil on Tuesday, and teh Pogues on Wed & Thursday. Quite a week!

I don't think I've ever had four consecutive nights like that, Adam. And each show was terrific. But glad the Nov. 1 Pogues show was last, because Neil & Bruce would have been a bit of a letdown for myself after those two Pogues shows. :) Instead, they helped build up to the grand finale :D

Nice pics MacRua. Thanks

Everyone going to a December UK show - have a great time! I will be there in spirit, at least.
