Typical Irish...putting the Cork at the bottom!
Went to visit family a few times as a toddler....don't remember it at all. Have to go back someday.

It's far too many years since Mme firehazard and I went to Cork. We arrived on a Sunday evening and it seemed it was basically closed. We ended up eating in just about the only place we could find open within walking distance of the hotel. It was a very dodgy Chinese restaurant and the food was appalling. So that's not a recommendation. And it was many many years ago. But I do love Cork.

Havent been on here for ages. Visiting Cork in December for a wedding in Midleton (think its East Cork). Any tips for decent boozers etc etc? Places to visit? Anything I shouldnt miss?
