I can't believe we've lost 3 Pogues, too soon gone all of 'em, and that old bastard Kissmyassinger made it to 100. Well he's dead now, so fuck him, i'll dance on his grave to the music of The Pogues.

Thanks DzM, soulfinger, Fr. McGreer.

I only brought God into it b/c my brother was actively Christian and I had deal with some people trying to explain God's ways to me. I'm still an atheist, and while I didn't go after anyone, I'm proud to say my eulogy kicked the ass of the sermon.

Overall everyone behaved and it went well. Except for the part where my brother is inexplicably gone and l will never see him again.

So sorry for your loss. God? I don't think so.

Looks like Shaft is off to reunite with Isaac Hayes....

Richard Roundtree, the trailblazing actor who starred as the ultra-smooth private detective in several Shaft films beginning in the early 1970s, has died. He was 81.

Roundtree's longtime manager, Patrick McMinn, said the actor had been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and died at his home in Los Angeles on Tuesday. He was diagnosed with breast cancer in 1993 and underwent a double mastectomy.

"Richard's work and career served as a turning point for African American leading men," McMinn said. "The impact he had on the industry cannot be overstated."
