All the downloads I made of this bootleg has the glitchering problem in Fairytale of New York.

I bought the DVD but I don't know to get the music in mp3.

I also have "Pogues Unlicensed" bootleg in CD, but it's just 1 track.

Is there any good software to split that track in several files? I tried some freeware software but the result is not perfect. Between the songs I miss some time, or repeat in the beginig of the new song the rest of the previous.

But if anyone has a good version of Fairytale, tell me something.

Also, what concert is the version of Dirty Old Town on it from? It's obviously not the same concert.

Dirty Old Town is from the bootleg Live on Rain Street from Leysin Switzerland. This show has also been released with other names including the "semi official" bootleg Streams Of Whiskey.

According to http://www.pogueslive.com/

Commercially released VHS video, Laserdisc & DVD
"Live At The Town And Country"
17-Mar-88
The Town And Country Club, London, England
59 min.
The bootleg CDs "Finding Partners To Get Drunk With" and "The Pogues Live (Unlicensed)" were made from this video... The song "Dirty Old Town" is from a different show because the video interrupts the song with a Joe Strummer interview. CD is one long track. i.e. it has no track breaks.

So, the easiest solution would be to pick up a copy of the DVD.

hey, anybody Every seen this? How's the quality?

07-Jun-87
The Session, Dublin (RTE One, Ireland)
50 min. Televised Concert with Joe Strummer and The Dubliners
The Pogues: Streams Of Whiskey / The Ballinalee / If I Should Fall From Grace With God

The Dubliners (without the Pogues): Ballad Of St. Anne's Reel / Don't Get Married / The Dubliners Fancy / Dubliners

The Pogues with Joe Strummer: I Fought The Law (Joe on vocals - Shane backup) / London Calling (Joe on vocals - Shane backup) / Lullaby Of London / South Australia / Repeal Of The Licensing Laws / Turkish Song Of The Damned / The Irish Rover (with the Dubliners and Joe Strummer)

Introduction by David Heffernan. The two Joe Strummer songs were released on the Clash "Death or Glory" Bootleg LP by CENOBITE (no catalog number).
