Terita,
If you have a look around related Pogues sites, I am sure you can find fans who have this stuff already. :D :D
I don't think they will release a back catalogue of Live stuff.. Look how long it took for the band to release the one live cd from the 2001 tour as they were never happy with the production or sound from previous shows.. Fair play to the Pogues, a band with integrity and passion.. something sadly lacking in many bands today in my humble opinion...

It's the law of supply and demand.

They are only available "unofficially".

Not everyone has the capability to download from an streaming video source; therefore, it is faster (and cheaper) than purchasing the do-it-yourself equipment to buy it from someone who has it.

I agree, the band should profit too. And if they released ANY of the tapes in their archives, they would. Because we are not that picky about production.

So, here's hoping... :)

I have bought about 10 DVD's from them over the last year or so and the quality is very good to excellent depending on the DVD. It took about a week and a half to recieve each one on average. They just started listing a bootleg I have not heard of called "The Parting Glass". it appears to be a commercial bootleg of Shane's last show.

Overall no complaints. They have almost always throw in a free concert cd.

Got a link to pass on? Didn't see them on the web.

Damn, that stinks. That's the problem with a lot of these online businesses - it can be so hit or miss. I made out ok with these guys, but I've had some nightmare experiences with a couple of merchants who other buyers deemed terrific.

I've had pretty good luck with them as well - if it's taken too long, contact them.

I'm surprised you've had problems with them. I've had a number of DVD's and CD's from Brighton Beach and they've been excellent. Quick delivery and the odd freebie thrown in. :?
