I really like the new songs. I wish you'd come to Canada sometime soon. Come during the Australian winter, so that you experience summer all year round. :)

The Rumjacks have got the EP 'Hung, Drawn & Portered' available now and we'll be recording our follow-up EP 'Sound As A Pound' this month (August '09).

We're playing all the time, mainly around Sydney and New South Wales, but will be back in Brisbane in September.

Rumjacks will be playing the U.K. and some European dates in 2010. Until then, we will in fact be playing with punk legends U.K. Subs in Sydney this October.

Cheers all!

Will, c/o The Rumjacks

Cheers indeed. The Rumjacks have got an EP just out - 'Hung, Drawn & Portered' - which will be available via Shite'n'Onions/Mustard Finnegan's in North America very soon.

We'll also be recording a second EP fairly soon, working title 'Sound As A Pound'. There'll be about half a dozen new original tunes on that one.

There's early sketches of a European tour in Ought Ten, but until then, we'll be playing pretty much all over eastern Australia. We've got some fairly sexy merch happening too, if anyone's interested.

Righto, for all things Rumjack, we're at: www.myspace.com/therumjacks

All the very best from the Shores of Botany Bay and the misty Blue Mountains of New South Wales (Sydney),

Top video, top songs. If you like this you might check out Will's previous band, Catgut Mary - they released a split CD with the Mahones in 2007 (I think...).

I think it's interesting that music with such a strong Celtic/Paddy-Punk influence still sounds so Australian somehow...

Check out this Aussie Celtic/folk band. I discovered them recently and I think they're really good. Watch their music video of Tell Me Ma, they look like a fun bunch. Their first EP hasn't been released yet, but I will keep an eye open for these guys.
