I'm not sure if it was mentioned already but that CD will be in the Republic of Ireland edition of the Sunday Times this Sunday.

I was surprised to find, not having read it for some time that, the "Culture" mag apart, the Sunday Times has managed to go from bad to worse.

Hm. Sounds good, but I have a fundamental objection to giving my money to the Murdoch press. Is there any way to acquire the CD without having to buy that bloody newspaper?

Fair enough point - mind you, Terry, Neville et al seem happy enough to allow it their work to be released via the Murdoch Press, so perhaps a momentary, one-off bite of the bullet is in order - it IS the Specials, after all!!!lol

There was a point last year wasn't it when you were getting a free CDs on Saturday and Sunday for 6 months straight - admittedly there probably was only a few good songs all the rest were pretty damn shite .. but still a nice freebie is a right touch ! I saw my niece and nephew playing frisbee with a cd there a couple of weeks ago.. I come running down furiously thinking its one of mine to the relief that it was something from the News of World. Thank F for that. :)

Whilst I understand you not wanting to send money Murdoch's way I'm thinking of it for the CD and the CD alone.. Not giving the paper much thought and nor will I give it a read! Do let me know if you want a copy of that CD though.

Sorry, couldn't quite hear that, it must've been that Smoker Jon coughing.

Don't mind my money going to The Specials if it's possible to buy the CD, but do object to it lining Murdoch's pockets. And won't have that rag in the house.

One of my girls used to work in a large newsagent's. You wouldn't believe the number of leftover free CDs they used to end up with, especially when readers of the right-wing papers didn't want the CDs on offer and so left them at the till...
