There were so many people up there, I honestly don't remember. I do remember security yanking people off pretty violently. And to notice violence at a punk rock show-it had to be pretty violent!

It was basically a riot wasnt it? But then again the end of a street dogs show tends to be

I was there! Great show. I was impressed by Flatfoot 56 & was disappointed by Time Again. Actually I wasn't expecting much from them & they still let me down....Street Dogs of course, kicked ass!!

Saw the Dogs this week in NYC..fabulous show..have seen them quite a few times & while there was a favorite or 2 left out in favor of new material, they were tight as hell & very energetic.Mike really played up to the NYC crowd. If you Boston guys want tracks played let me know..I don't want to just blurt them out if you dont want to know.BTW,got a fucking primo shot of McColgan..pm me with your email & I'll send it to you.I'm too much of a knucklehead to know how to post a pic here.Or somebody tell me how to do that in very slow & precise directions & I'll post it here.It really is a beauty

Street Dogs at the Middle East in September. Went over and got my tickets last week should be good. As for the new album I have had 'rebel song' stuck in my head for the last few days.

I actually got an advance release of the new one about a month ago & although I didn't hate it, it didn't really strike me either. Since then I've only listened to a few songs again, but I really gotta listen some more. The standouts to me so far were the cover of Into the Valley, Mean Fist & elizabeth. Also I thought the start of Free sounds exactly like "If I ever leave this world alive" by flogging molly. They do have the same producer.

Anyway, the last time I went that far down Landsdowne St, Avalon was just a big hole in the ground, it didnt look like anywhere near done yet....we'll see.

Hey Phoist,Son Of Erin & you other Boston guys,
Dragging my old ass down to NJ to Warped on Monday to see the Dogs. Also looking forward to the Briggs of course,& Against Me & Pennywise.Other than that it's beer tent time.As for the new one,I like it,don't love it(yet). It's a very solid cd from start to finish, but I'm surprised at the lack of an anthem. There were so many anthems last outing,Not Without A Purpose,Tobe,Power In A Union,Fading American Dream..I guess I expected something a little closer to that sound. And other than Mean Fist & Kevin O'Toole(a favorite, reminds me of Fighter),there's not much punk flavor. But like I said, solid songs.Usual great lyrics of family & pride. My fave is the title track,State of Grace with Kevin O'Toole,Mean Fist & Elizabeth being in a tie for 2nd.A notch below is Two Angry Kids,Free,San Patricios(this one I see getting more plays) & Into The Valley & Rebel Song. Generals Boombox &Guns...are just ok...don't care for them much yet.Gonna take some listens to get used to that chorus in Guns.I feel Boombox growing on me though..it's just kinda lost in the shuffle right now.Overall I see it getting many plays in the next few months as it grows on me.The Briggs latest one is taking some time to grow on me too. There's a couple of fucking anthems on that one though!! But their last album was much better than this one.Not as much of a disparity in the Dogs.hahaha...we're almost half way to St Patricks Day!!What's the update on Lansdowne??Is that fucking club going to be ready for us this year??

Any opinions on the new album yet? I am going to get it today and I went and saw them do a signing/accoustic gig in Braintree yesterday. I like what I have heard thus far and they were wicked cool yet again. After I jumped the queue to get a poster signed by all of them the bassist took a photo of my Street Dogs tattoo and I got interviewed for some video thing that they are putting together apparently. A good evening all and all

Its sort of funny that you would compare it to a riot seeing as while not tame that was not nearly the most riotous show I've been to.

two thoughts -- that was enjoyable even [still  ] without sound... and -- only one woman with, what, 200 guys?! That could have been a video clip of a street riot in Iran/Iraq/Afghanistan/Pakistan.
