Yeah, they are great.

Saw Ollin open for the Pogues and really liked them, thought they had amazing energy and stage presence.
Cool ass people.

I have seen two bands recently doing Pogues covers, not tribute bands but bands who have incorporated some very fine songs into their set. Oddly, a bit like the Pogues incorporated traditional songs into their sets. Both were at beer festivals and both did excellent versions. Pogues songs and great beer! What could be better? Other than the real thing.

Nah, I just really hated that clip and felt quite free to say so.

I actually post on this forum because I don't want to see it dwindle down to nil in the face of its recent great loss.

You, on the other hand, come to supposedly "not" promote your third-rate cover band in every post.

Smilies are the shit. I know they don't effectively promote your band in any way, but hell... can we keep them?

Indoctrinate? That's a bit of a stretch.

You should actually be thanking me for helping you promote the video on this thread.

If you're gonna go posting videos on fan forums expect differing reactions, mine was rude (to a degree) but so what.

Our reply was based on content and topic...No personal attack intended on our part nor any personal offense taken.. though It's likely your sole aim to provoke such reactions

Yes, agree that it would be foolish to expect to please everyone.. It has been duly noted that you, Frances, think the video sucks, or we suck.. or everyone sucks.. or whatever it is you mean to say.. Sorry that it's hard to care or take it seriously given the inherent contradictions and lack of substance or tact...

As I said before this is just for fun and for sharing a love of the Pogues' music, not about promoting ourselves or the video...seems doubtful you're effectively promoting anything here except your own cynicism and want of attention through a lot of pointless vitriol..

You'll eventually go blind if you keep overexerting those rolling emoticon eyes.. signing off this frequency.. over n' out
