Dublin band Tupelo are well worth checking out. They are an accoustic roots act mixing traditional Irish folk with country and western, bluegrass and a variety of different other influences. The Pogues are clearly one of the bands that have inspired them and there deubut album Dirty Money is excellent, fresh and exciting.
