Bogus Pogues

Post by Fionn MacCool Sun Oct 10, 2010 1:04 am

Saw a Pogues tribute band last night called 'Bogus Pogues', at Monroe's pub in Galway. They were superb. Had a drummer, banjo player, singer, guitarist, uilleann pipes/tin whistle and bass player and they played some good old tunes like Waxys Dargle, Dark Streets of London etc. I was wrecked by the end of it so I dunno how I'm gonna handle the proper gigs at Xmas, especially if I'm only drinking!

Yes, and don't touch the brown acid.

Hi
We are setting up a new Pogues Tribute Band in Galway!
We are called the Bogus Pogues (http://www.facebook.com/pages/The-Bogus ... 523?ref=ts)
Is there anything we need to do (besides rehearse!) or protocol we should follow before we start gigging?
