Maybe I just have bad taste

or maybe it's that their music, however horrible, reminds me of my music

Well, I rode down to the pier but all venues were super packed. Couldn't get in to see you... USA sucks because you can't drink outside. Did, however, get to see a young girls perform Irish dances outside and the Misty Isle Pipe Band play all sorts, showing the crowd the difference between the Irish and the Scottish bagpipes! Maybe catch you at a less crowded show.

St. Pat's

I meant this as a reply, but a shameless plug indeed it now is!

Shillaly Brothers playing St. Pat's DAY (11:30 till 3:00)
at the Light House at the Hermosa Beach Pier!!

A great walk-in show right after the parade ends!!

I actually think they sound a lot better than most of the bands out there. They don't use as much just shouting, heavy feedback, and other stuff like what FM do that I don't like. It's a lot simpler and calmer, although still with a rowdy side. It's not too over the top. I'd rather listen to the Shillaly Bros than Flogging Molly any day of the week.

Um, I think they sound alright. I can't even hold a guitar so I don't really feel right to judge a musician. So, St. P's day down on Hermosa Pier... might be there because we bike to it on the weekends anyway. Are you (SB) really going to play there in the morning? Is going to be complete chaos? (So many questions, so little time...)

Bro, I'm from LA and would be curious but your Myspace link doesn't work...
