The Connells are what is commonly known as a Southern "Frat Band." However, they are quite good and have been around since the early 80s. I like them quite a bit and will likely bring a good show. Other than that (and FM, of course), I don't recognize a single band.

I was just wondering about that 'avatar' myself. Glad you asked first.

Irish pride??!!! Hell, I'm just looking for a good time and a beer. :) 8)

"your" as in the plural form of the Medusans, related to the DKM show happening in a casino...

btw: did you draw up your (as in the single form) new logo yourself?

No. My drawing is as bad as my math. And its an "avatar" not a logo. :P

A Perfect 10 St. Patrick's Day Party featuring...

Post by R0gUE Sat Jan 27, 2007 7:30 am

Maybe this will help... Eric, I take your Shamrock Fest and double the stakes with this news:

By chance I saw that INXS is still alive (well, I guess not all of them), and in looking up where they will be playing (Morongo Casino) found out that "guess who" will be playing there for St.P's day:

"A Perfect 10 St. Patrick's Day Party featuring... Metal Skool" (who apparently plays every other day)

Image

And the "Perfect 10 Model Contest (21 and older only)" - I wonder if you have to be Irish to enter, because if so my chances are shot!

http://www.morongocasinoresort.com/key_club_events.cfm

...and ooh, just noticed, on March 1st which could have been, but isn't, my birthday, the wonderfully fantastic Drop Kick Murphys will join the crowd... (and give a most deserved little break to Metal Skool. ) I've always pictured casinos as places where musicians go to rest... like Huey Lewis and the News or Prince in Vegas on New Year's eve... what does this do for your Irish pride?

Clowns are creepy-scary and most assuredly not funny, but it's marionettes that really freak my shit out.

Sorry for the non-sequiter, but this thread looked a little pathetic, and just a bit lonely.

I probably haven't helped matters........

For those of you in the Mid-Atlantic area, you might want to keep your eyes on this. Flogging Molly is signed, and there doesn't seem to be info on anyone else, but there must be more.
