well then what about greenland whale fishers?just got the c.d and i really liked it but what i wish for is that it was truely a pogues c.d i was listening to.....wishful thinking..........

the murphys don't sound a whole lot like the pogues, but i don't see how you can truthfully say flogging molly don't.

Why is everyone comparing bands like DKM and FM with the Pogues? They sound nothing like eachother. :roll: I also bet you've only heard a few songs, so you have no right the judge.

From what ive heaqrd The Tossers are much more in the spirit of the Pogues than the fucking Dropkick Murphy Flogging Mollys sound.
I do like Real MacKenzies a lot though,like Stiff Little Fingers.And blood or Whiskey are good in a Poguesy kind of way but .Nothing is the same yet
