they're gonna play here in november...still debating whether I should go or not, I mean I would go but it's the most inconvient venue in the whole damned city.

I have the Warriors Code and i have to say, it isnt as good as some of they're previous albums. Thats not to say that its a bad album, I still rather like it. Its just not their best release. Some of ken Casey's vocals just dont seem to have his normal rythm that I loved from before. Its really only noteworthy on "Your Spirit's Alive". There are alot of good songs on this album though, like Green Fields of France, The Auld Triangle, Captains Kelly's Kitchen, and Citezen C.I.A.

There's an acoustic version of The Auld Triangle performed by the DKM right here. It's better than the album version, I like it. (Set it to 4:00)

Parts of Blackout sound like Flogging Molly (who I intensely dislike) but I do have to admit that Fields of Athenry is an amazing traditional cover if you are into punk...the other stuff on blackout is ok...not to sure about black velvet band though...this is a great trad song but sometimes playing something really fast doesn't do it justice...

I thought blackout had it's moments... I'll download some more songs off the warrior's code in a bit though. whichever way ya look at these two albums you've gotta admit that Do or Die and Sing Loud, Sing Proud were a helluva lot better.

Totally agree. I think it is their worst album until now

Did you ever listen to Blackout? THAT was a bad album. Or maybe just an OK album. But it wasn't great nonetheless.

The Warrior's Code is really good actually. Green Fields of France is my favorite song on the album. And I like Wicked Sensitive Crew.

I totally dig that version. You gotta admit; most of the versions are just boring. This one's fun to singalong.

It's not that they sing it differently because as a big fan of most of their music I'm used to them playing their covers very differently, it's that they play it badly!!

I'm not a purist at all but it hasn't grown on me either. Just don't know what it is, that I don't like about the album.

"...worst album until now..." ??

Anyway, I've had the album a while. I like it. It had to grow on me a little, but I like it for its own merits. So they sing Old Triangle differently...so what?
