The Pogues brought their annual festive tour, and a healthy dose of Christmas spirit, to London last night (December 18th).

The band wowed a sold out crowd on what was the first night of a three night residency at the Brixton Academy.

Fronted by Shane McGowan, who looked resplendent in a black suit jacket, the group delivered a set of greatest hits.

But it was their now iconic festive song, 'Fairytale of New York', which drew the biggest reception.
