Wife is watching Love island so yours truly is bored....just found some cracking footage of the Pogues in Japan in 1988, great footage of how Shane and the Bhoys used to be .....memories. It freaks me out to see Pogues members on Late Night.
Worlds colliding.
Letterman’s pretend aloofness and negativity pisses me off in this clip.

But the high kick bugs me soooo much more.

Hi, I've been messing around with the free music editing software, Audacity. This is my first attempt at editing a track and it's one we all love but all agree is too short.
Well not any more.....

I've done two versions. First is studio extended and the second one i added in live footage and crowd noise which i synced to the studio sound. Also I screen shot the Audacity footage of the edit.
Hope you enjoy..... :D

Fun but I'm disappointed they didn't also analyze Gary Oldman's version (From the 'Sid & Nancy' film).

Also, let's be clear, Shane's version is clearly a cover of Sid's. The interesting comparison here would be between Frank & Sid's versions. Which he does in brief, but ...

I'm pretty sure I've heard the song before...

but I've never seen the video. One of the women in it is the absolute spit of a woman I know. It's distracting. Never knew she'd been in a Pogues video. I'll have to ask her about it next time I see her. :lol:
