It’s been playing at the infamous No.10 Covid lockdown Christmas party! Surely that should have been illegal, among many other things. According to Partygate, currently on the Channel 4 in the UK.

This sounds like a promising cocktail, but does NOT seem like something the characters in the song would drink. Maybe the NYPD Choir, at a posh after party at the mayor's house?

Not quite the same but I drank a Fairytale of New York today. The Ivy have it as a festive drink with their posh afternoon tea, so I couldn’t pass it hat one up. It was nice :)

Ok this may not be of interest to many of you however....i went to see my daughter's orchestra's Christmas performance last night. The senior Orchestra (15 to 18years old) did an absolutely superb and very enjoyable rendition of Fairytale of New York. Which got a great response from the audience! Cheers Aled

Just found a great version on CD but no Youtube link

The word faggot has been removed and the lyrics are now.... You scumbag, you sucker, you cheap lousy fucker
