South of Watford

Thanks Phil is this You Tubeable? Whens it from??

Not a clue. Sometime in 1984, I'd say. It was an item on a late night magazine programme for the London/South East area focussing on the perceived punkabilly trend rocking the capital. The Shillelagh Sisters and the Boothill Foottappers were both singled out, as I recall, for durability and success. The Pogues not so much. Ooops!

We rehearsed today with Bob, the temp drummer. He catches on fast and we like him!

I spent the evening doing promo for the Radiators' Trouble Pilgrim: Japan Edition in Tokyo. Played a few songs, signed things, shook hands, had photo took, was interviewed in at least three languages, only one of which I understood. Anything that went wrong, I put down to jetlag. Anything that went right I attribute to Sota Matsui at Uncleowen Records. Had a blast.

I bet the food is good also... 8)
