Finally heard it on the radio (92.5 Boston) driving to work today. No matter how many times I hear a song, it always seems cooler to hear it on the radio. With the demise of WFNX and WBCN in Boston, it seems that 92.5 (The River) is the only FM station that ever plays the Pogues (heard IISF and Dirty Old Town) last week.

Back in the day, The Suburbs and Replacements were 2 of my favorite local Minneapolis bands. Chan Poling of The Burbs now has another project called The New Standards, this is their attempt at FONY with bagpipes...

Thanks for posting that Chistine! That was AWESOME! I wish a flash mob would do that in my town, but most of the people in my town are pretty lame and don't know who the Pogues are. HAPPY CHRISTMAS!!
