I think you are right about the availabilty on 4oD.
Did Frank Murray recently have a birthday? Or do you stop counting after 60 .If not happy belated birthday Frank.

4oD Channel 4 on line Father Ted hell episode is currently available.c17 mins in when Graham Norton arrives.
Sadly the Frank Murray Mainland episode is not.

I think they change the availability fairly often. I watched the Mainland episode for the XXXth time on 4oD last weekend. It still makes me laugh out loud.

Can't find the thread at this moment, and haven't got that far in the book... but Frank Murray played the waiter trying to deal with Mrs Doyle and her friend in the episode called "The Mainland" - the one that also had Richard Wilson in it. :)

Yes that's it, thanks.

Frank Murray was in an episode of Father Ted, it says so in Kiss My Arse.

Isn't there a thread about it somewhere? I remember reading something.

A really supid question

Post by Dropofpoison Tue Oct 31, 2006 12:39 am

I realise that this is a pretty stupid thing to ask, but it's been driving me crazy and i reckon if anyone knows, it'll be you guys. I'm sure I remember somebody on a sitcom, may well have been Father Ted, or something similar singing Dirty Old Town. I have a strong memory of this but I can't remember what it was on. Does anyone know? Has anyone seen this? I know I remember it and it's really annoying. Thanks.
