DIRTY OLD TOWN: a new short film with music by The Pogues

+-- A short film (2 mins 37 secs) directed by Jonathan Glazer, DIRTY OLD TOWN is made from selected footage from the BFI Mitchell & Kenyon films, shot in 1900-1906. With music by The Pogues, DIRTY OLD TOWN is a loving homage to this most remarkable footage that offers a unique glimpse into a part of this country's history rarely if ever seen on film. Playing from Nov 25th with MRS HENDERSON PRESENTS AT Clapham Picture House --+

The footage played on the BBC recently, wasfascinating.. factory workers, drinkers and street life in Victorian/edwardian england. Right --- off to Ladbrokes!cm
