I don't care if you want to host the file. It just has to be abundantly clear to technically inexperienced people that the file did not come from Medusa's server. Many people are not familiar enough with the structure of hyperlinks and URLs to understand that when they click a link here for an MP3, the MP3 that ends up on their hard drive may have come from a different server. Hence the need to link to a page on the other server, or to break the direct link such that the end-user has to reconstruct it in a way that makes it clear where the request is going.

Please don't link directly to unlicensed MP3s from here. Link to another web site that then links to the MP3, or provide the URL in such a way that it's abundantly clear to non-technical lawyers that the files is not coming from this server.

Example:

Scheme & Host:
http://www.nathenmaxwell.com

URI:
/mp3/09%20Vreemde%20wegen.mp3

To download the file combine the scheme/host and URI to form a complete URL.

Your post has been altered to break the direct link.

My brother came around today saying he heard a song of a band. It sounded Irish to him. While looking at the credits it said: Terry Woods (EX-Pogues wtf?)

Paul Harrigan played Pipes on it
Shane Martin played Bodhran

MP3 is here:
Scheme:
http://www.nathenmaxwell.com

URI:
/mp3/09%20Vreemde%20wegen.mp3

Combine the Scheme and URI to create a complete URL.
