Hi John - good work on the tapes! Who says the 80s were a cultural wasteland? This is lovely, so nice to hear this Moynihan/Woods/McCullough lineup for the first time, especially in a laid-back acoustic session setting. Although now i'm angry that the lads didn't go into the studio and put out an album of american tunes at the time!

Grand, no problem. The more the merrier! To think that this recording was on a unlabeled cassette in my attic until a few days ago. I've been digitising my tapes and I was delighted to find this on to tape that also featured Lloyd Cole doing a phone in on Irish radio in 1985. It only goes to show that you never can tell what you might find.

I recently found a unlabeled cassette I have of most of a radio show from 1986 that features Terry. He talks about having just filmed Straight To Hell so it must be from '86. The Fanning Sessions site , dedicated to posting recordings from 1980s/90s Irish radio, have added the recording.
