I was at the 3 Glasgow 87 gigs where Fairytale was performed live for the first time ever. The 19th was definitely recorded as there's been about 7 tracks released on various B-sides!

Anyone know why this gig was never officially released??

I've got the 17th & 18th as boots, but I've never seen the 19th available anywhere!!

PS If I remember correctly, I'm sure one of the recording mic's hanging from the roof got hit with a flying glass and caused some problems! ;-(

will there be any Live-Tours this or the next year? I´m hearing and enjoying The Pogues more than 20 years an have never seen them live. I´m living in Germany, so it was not so easy to arrange it. Sometimes I hope to hear the best Irish-Folk-Band. I also love to visit your lovely country, maybe on St. Patricks day ;o)
Walk on...

Hi Eddie, welcome on board. We are all thinking the same question and don't know any answers yet. I doesn't look very promising though. Shane has been quoted as saying he's finished with the band and won't be doing any more shows but he has said this before......

Fingers crossed though :)

It's getting warmer! How about Stockton again this year?? Dexy's & The Proclaimers are on - They could do fab warm ups -
But I would walk 500 miles
And I would walk 500 more
Just to be the man who walked a thousand miles
To fall down at your doorI would walk 6000

None laid. Expect no summer activity. Everywhere I go these days, it's too damn cold, and there's little reason to suppose that will change in 2013 as it has been so since 2012.

.......is that an absolute DEFINATE ? Before I go and blow the 'Pogues summer european jolly' budget on something else, before I let my mate down who has discovered it all too late and keeps asking where we are going this year .....

You didnt look too cold in that big blue double breasted coat at L'olympia Mr C  But your right, europe has been a bit parky in the evenings these last few years.

Play some cool indoor places then ....Paris, Melkweg, esche sur alzette and Drammen were (in my mind) better than some of these outdoor gigs - but only cos I prefer indoor - thats all

Such a pity! The band seemed to be on such a peak when I saw them in Paris and London.. Hopefully the temperatures will soar towards the end of the year and lure ye from the shelter ye crave!!

Will the Pogues be in Boston in spring of 2013? Probably should be looking elsewhere for this info, but....
