It wasn't obligatory at all, I volunteered it! :D

I lived in Buffalo for 6 years have nothing against it; but there is no denying it is dark and cold in the winter.

Funny though, when I lived in Buffalo I heard cracks about my hometown of NYC on a regular basis, and mostly they weren't joking. Now that I live in North Carolina, NYC and Buffalo are considered one and the same by most people down here.

So how about leaving out the obligatory Buffalo insult? Its too easy. Next time, pick on someone your own size -- this dirty old town does just fine.

Sorry for the late wishes, but congrats on the baby news, kmurray. 8) You can still name a girl after the Pogues:
Shania, Jaime, Terry, Andrea, Gemma, Philippa (Pippa), Darylin, Stacey...

PS: I was pregnant with my daughter at my last Zappa show...

Thanks, kmurray, and all good wishes to you and yours.

And of course, if it's a girl, there's a reasonable choice of names too: Cait, Kirsty, Ella, Kitty... :)

Aye,that would work.

Thank you all for your kind words. I am glad you enjoyed the writing, I feel like I forgot more than I remembered. (I hear Fearnley takes notes!) Luckily, I am verbose.

Thank you DzM for posting it, and so quickly!

Philip, enjoy your cigarettes. Just not around the children!
