Maybe a one off gig in a Post Office?

You mean complete with explosion? That would be double incentive for me as that's my preferred end. :D And I just read that the Dublin General Post Office has a statue of a dying Cuchulainn which I don't know how I missed during my visit this past winter!

Too bad, was hoping for another christmas trip this year.....

Hopefully next year, christmas isn't the same without my favourite band!

I'll miss the excitement that always goes with a Pogues tour, but agree. And after the Rum tour, and the events of the summer, I tend to think the band could do with a year off. Back with a vengeance in 2015, let's hope.

I will never forget what Phil did for me when I was in New York 2011. Got excited when I saw DzM comment then. Thought he was announcing an Xmas tour ha ha. Out of interest do you have any contact with anyone from the pogues camp now Phil has gone?

I think it's fair to say that Philip knew how much he meant to all of us. Interacting with all of us also meant a lot to him as well. He very much saw himself a part of this community.
