It was considered, but I'm not really sure the gig belongs to the list.
but I don't think it was an official Pogues gig as such.
Agreed. That was the George Pellecanos Orchestra

There is no room for arguement about this, it absolutely was an official Pogues show. Any and every Pogues member who was there will tell you the same thing, it was a very special night. To suggest otherwise is frankly insulting to everybody involved including George Pelecanos (one L). This sort of nitpicking really pisses me off.
Of course there's room for argument (no E), otherwise you wouldn't be. Arguing.
Hey Spider, Is it not also insulting to everybody involved in this sorry Forum, particularly the members, who work, save, scrounge and beg for the cash to follow you guys around the world and who pay for your new hip lifestyle in New Orleans?
And to think that only yesterday I was checking the price of flights from Ireland to Australia next April, and the availability of a bed or floor in a relations house, to possibly see you guys in Perth (I have no idea if it's on your schedule or not). My girlfiend thought I was mad, but then realised it was the Pogues, and most holidays that I/we could afford these last few years have been worked around a Pogues gig somewhere or other.
I have now come to the conclusion that you are not worth it. I'll save my cash. You really are a horrible, grumpy little man. I always thought that Shane was probably the main obstacle to you guys touring, but it wouldn't surprise me if it's the thought of being stuck on a bus with you for two weeks that puts the other members of the band off.
And another thing, the Gunners are pure shite this year
