i`d just like ta say thanx to all the pogues for the last 6 years since the reunion tours began,i`ve seen em loads in the past but the last 6 yerz have revitalised me i cant believe how good they sound now even better in someways .
just read the latest book and its made me appreciate the pogues EVEN more, christ i did`nt realise they went thro much shit but came out of it alive and healthy, and yes i include shane in that who would have thought he`d live ta nearly fifty if ya believed the press.
lots of things in the book i did`nt know and it sort of shocked me a bit, especially the constant touring ,when some of the band were under constant pressure to perform when they were suffering personel trauma.
not many bands can sell out gigs without releasing new material ,altho i cant believe that songs aint been written in the last 6 yerz by shane phillip etc regarding their personnal experiences,i sense a great album in the making as long as they are not forced to tour it and do it in there own time.
enjoy ya 25th anniversary for this yer and thanx for some of the best music i`ve ever listened to and to the best gigs i`ve ever been to (just wish i could remember em).
look forward ta seeing ya in plymouth 2007
cheers
