Sorry I didn't see Mats and the others at the pub, but I never found the pub  And I looked for it really well. Honestly!
Anyway, I really enjoyed the gig. Such an experience. I was standing at the barrier, right in front of Shane, and I've got the bruises to prove it. I honestly think that if I'd to go to the hospital they'd ask me about my violet husband. Really, that's how bad my arms look (the holes in the barrier have actually left their marks on my knee). But it was worth it. Fortunately, people around me looked after me really well so I actually survived to tell the tale :) .They really played for 2 hours with an amazing setlist. Again, such an amazing experience and I'm really glad I went.

Hope to see you at the Brazen Head pub before the gig. Many Pogues fans will be there. Here´s a link how to find it . The pub is very close to the venue. http://www.brazen-head.co.uk/indexf.htm

Cheers Mats

Whoops! There goes another one. We'll be dragging people in off the street at this rate.

I'd love to go Phil and I will be if Ican't sell them, but don't worry the Pogues have a fantistic fan base in Glasgow iand it's sure to be busy.

p.s. don't suppose you want to buy them. lol.

No thanks, I know someone in the band.

looks like i'm going then Phil. By the way any chance of you being in the guest bar afterwards.

The guest bar in the Academy is in the top balcony, requiring a running of the gauntlet which would defeat a sprightlier popstar than myself. I don't know which genius thought that was a good place to put it.
