I have no younger relatives or friends who would appreciate it, so I want to give someone else the chance to enjoy owning it. It won't make me rich, but the few quid I get for it will be useful too. I've generally taken a more practical view of stuff I own in recent years. I once owned pretty much every piece of official Pogues vinyl. I now own no vinyl at all, and if I'm honest, feel no worse off for the fact that I can now access any music I like in ten seconds flat.

That actually makes perfect sense. I've draw full of T Shirts going back to the March '88 T&C gig. Don't know if I could be as logical as you though. I think I might get some picture framer to mount a couple of them as I'm too fat to fit in the early ones

Thanks for the comment on Young Ned. I've done a few more Pogues tracks and lots of other genres too. Its just a bit of fun.

Golactico wrote:Just in case anyone is interested, my much loved 1986 'Back From Hell' tour T-Shirt is up for sale on eBay.
Search eBay for 'Vintage Pogues T-Shirt'.
As the photo evidence in the listing shows, I'm proud to say that it still (sort of) fits after 37 years!

Why on earth would you want to sell it?

Hello, Huge long time pogues fan here..I was unable to see them live tho. I turned my dad onto them and he loves the music. I saw recently on ebay, they had a POGUES ashtray!!!...my dad is a smoker and I thought what a great gift to give..I bought the one and only I saw on ebay..ONLY TO FIND OUT, that it was in fact no longer in stock. I Looked everywhere, I mean EVERYWHERE on the net and couldnt not find one.

I come here in hopes that someone out there has one they would be willing to SELL. I would be thrilled if this were the case. So, If you do have a pogues ashtray and are willing to part with it, PLEASE hit me up. My email address is Mattsmusicshop@yahoo.com My fingers are crossed that some awesome fan out there sees this post and solves my dilemma.

Hey everyone

I was wondering if someone can help me.

I'm trying to track down a specific tee circa 1988 - Emerald Green with a black shamrock and The Pogues written in red letters above it. I believe they were sold at the Town and Country Club, London in 1988. I've included a link and I'm desperate to get my hands on one so if anyone can help out, I'd greatly appreciate it: http://www.bbc.co.uk/radioassets/photos ... 0572_2.jpg

Cheers folks

Dammit, I didn't know they had the snow globes on the merch stall. Would've bought one if I had. Got the T-shirt, though.

But yes, it was a great gig. 8)

I am sorry, I was advised your t-shirt ordered was the last one and did not pass our quality checks. We tried to locate another but will not have any at present. I have refunded you today, this will show in your account within 2 - 5 days.
