I would go to Richmond to see the Pogues; but Raleigh would be better!

Phillip Suggest Richmond, VA...

Hey Phillip,

I was at the 9:30 Club the first night and I want to say thanks for such a killer show. I try to see The Pogues evry time they do an East Coast tour in the 2000's since the first time you came back to the states and played The Borgata in Atlantic City, NJ. Since then I have seen two St. Paddy's Day shows at The Roseland Ballroom and the 9:30 Club, plus the first 9:30 Club show last night. I hope for everything this is not your last east coast USA tour and if you come back next year or whatever, please play in my hometown of Richmond, VA. Its' spitting distance from DC and Baltimore, and folks would love it and pack the house. If so, I recomend that you play The National. It is the cities best spot for you guys and it is a wonderful renovated playhouse theatre. I will always travel to see you when you show up, but it would be an honor to have you be so close to me and it would be so much love for all the travel and such I have put in to see you guys (although I will travel again anyways regardless). Please don't let this tour be your last, it makes my world when you come around. You guys are one of the best bands in the world without a doubt. No bands like you can ever touch your legacy with all due respect for those that are inspired by you. It would be a dream come true and it would be such a wonderful and exciting new city for you guys to play.

Thanks!!!
