I was there, my second Pogues gig, mental, the barrier at the front was in danger of collapse and i have the live recording on a tape i bought after the gig, i've just got home from this years Glasto, saw the Popes on the Avalon stage, nice set.They opened with Rock and roll paddy they did church of the holy spook, sleepless nights, holloway boulevard and ended with a cover of Galway girl, great gig
I also saw Hobo Jones and the junkyard dogs, who did Sally Mac and the Irish Rover
Still a bit of the Pogues at Glastonbury, totally different festival now though, much more organised, you actually have to pay to get in
