Crippedicrap. I saw them twice and they really seemed to enjoy themselves and the whole show and atmosphere and so on. Of course it is great that they get paid for it, it's THEIR legacy and work so what's your problem? And no, people don't just want to see Shane but all eight Pogues! Hopefully it won't be their last tour -.-

For me it's never been about hearing anything fresh, it's about that one day every year that me and the boys head down to Old London Town to get ratted and sing along to some of the most wonderful tunes that shaped my musical upbringing from a band I love, and every year I look forward to how that experience makes me feel. I've been going the past few years and it's always been the highlight of Christmas for me.

I am personnally glad these are the last xmas gigs as you can see the majority of the band members don't want to be there and that they only turn up for there paycheck.Every year I feel it being all to samey and was gonna give it a miss this year untill these gigs were announced as "Fairwell" shows.£35 is a lot to see a band who basically play the same setlist in the same order every year with expeptions for 3 or 4 songs which are different.I also feel that dropping off bringing a known support band was only done to save the band more money aswell. The Pogues are a great band but you can only live on your past for so long and the fact that the majority are only there for Shane anyway. Is it to much for the band to test the water with some new material???
