It was my third year in Boston made alot more interesting with a flight in from Vancouver instead of the usual drive from Halifax.Philip is right about the ease of travel in from Logan. My flight landed at 7:30 and after a quick Metro line it was straight to the HOB and a little slice of heaven. It's been a long time since I've experienced true excitement and anticipation of a show.
Cheers boys and thank you for giving live music a leg up. It's a breath of fresh air in pre fab world. You're the real deal and I hope you continue to give North America a chance to sing and dance for years to come.
Well done

Straight to Hell is maybe the best entrance music ever. A profoundly gorgeous song, and it's always cool seeing how many people in the audience know it.

I was bummed to see Dark Streets dropped from the set. That's a barnstormer of a song.

In Boston? Yeah, I went to the Friday show also and if memory serves 90% of the stuff playing between sets were Clash tunes which greatly added to my enjoyment of the night. Good times.

The Clash "Straight to Hell"

in a way, a very fine tribute to Joe Strummer IMHO??.................................... 8)

when i hear it before they come on it makes my hair stand up with anticipation of whats to come??

dam what great performances we were fortunate to witness this year, listening to Straight the Hell as i type this message??

dam we have to wait another year for their possible return??...................

All the HOB's seem to have a reputation for overcrowding. Does anyone know how many people were actually there on Saturday?

Officially 2500. But they managed to oversell it and tried to redistribute Saturday tickets to the more comfortably sold Friday night by offering freebies for Friday if you had a Saturday ticket. I never much pursued the outcome of this effort as it did not affect our fee anyway, though certainly, if it had appeared overcrowded - it didn't - we would certainly have investigated that.

Nice venue, mind.

Wow! Glad you made it. I've noticed Logan is one of the world's more user-friendly airports, in that it's less than thirty minutes drive to civilization.
