Go there, you won´t regret it. I was there in 2005 and 2006. Last year was London and most likely again this year.

Sounds good, i think i have 3 good options from Gothenburg: Glasgow, London or Dublin. I will look into it when the gigs are official. Thanks guys

Just so there's no further doubt - the gigs are official.

Very good. And now the planning can start.
Thank you Mr Chevron

Yes , great atmosphere in Glasgow both at the show and the city in general. 8)

I saw them for the first time in Glasgow last December, and the atmosphere and everything was great!
And if you travel from Norway or Sweden, it's extremely cheap as well! I think I paid 18 Kroner for a pint at the cheapest.
A couple of very good rock bars there as well, if that's your cup of tea.

Considering either Glasgow or London, if they play 18th and 19th there, as the schedule says.

go to Dublin, the cost of living is very cheap...NOT! Maybe Belfast will be on the agenda again this year seeing as it was considered the highlight of the christmas tour(i believe) by the band.

I wonder will the lads play in the point......sorry, the o2 arena this year, its re-opening in november.

My last week of college finishes on the 19th (Fri) so I still don't know if I can make the Brixton gigs or go to the Dublin ones instead.

Don´t know where you live in Sweden but you can fly with Ryan Air to Glasgow or London to see them without beeing ruined. It´s also cheap to drink and stay in Glasgow (compare to Sweden)

I don't know much about flight prices but its definately cheap to drink and stay in Glasgow, not to mention the fact that the Scottish shows have a great atmosphere!

Great news about the tour Mr C, it wouldn't be Christmas without the Pogues. All the best

We will be touring from December 6 to 22. We'll post dates once they're all finalised.

Though I do hope to be well enough for this tour, it is probably too soon to begin taking my appearance for granted. I regret I will not, for example, be with the band on either of the two UK Festival dates next weekend. There is still mending be done and while nobody is more frustrated than I that this has tended to take an erratic course, that's nevertheless how it is for the moment.

thanks for the info phil ... all the best - hear & see you in december !
