I watched again the vhs, I was wrong, and you're of course right, only backing vocals :D

maybe I'm wrong, but I remember that in the live at the town and country (the 1988 one) you were singing 1000's with Shane.. I'm dreaming?

Back from work, logged on and expected to be ripped apart in a friendly sort of way of course for not knowing. So he sings it in A and you sing it in C, dosn't mean a great deal to me I'm afraid. All I know it sounds pretty good when you sing it. Hope to hear it in Manchester.

Ehhhhhhxcellent, Philip. 8) Looking forward to seeing that.
What do we use to ransom him back? "Nobody move, or the Zinfandel gets it!"

ray wrote:Hello Philip. Been having a very enjoyable read of the 1000's thread. One of my favourite Pogues songs. Really like you singing it though. Now the idea. If it's on the playlist, when it's turn comes, tell Shane there's a drink waiting for him offstage. As soon as he go's off, start the song, problem sorted :D . Tickets on the way for Manchester, can't wait
