Huh! Quick death my ass.

I had to wear that kensington gore all through lunch and I lacked the foresight to fall dead in a spot which would not be in the field of vision of the next 20 camera set-ups, meaning that, for the sake of continuity, I had to lie there for several days in the blazing sun as they shot around me. I used the time to commit HAMLET to memory.

Dick Rude was the man with the fatal bullet. My character was a little bit in love with his character, Willy Sims, which was why I could not shoot him but his character was a heartless boor. Ah, so much cinematic subtext on the cutting room floor! And this 20 years before BROKEBACK MOUNTAIN, too!

And yes, smartass, they did bother about continuity in Straight To Hell

Doing some research I came across a website that's dealing with death scenes in movies called "Cinemorgue".

And guess who's listed among other actors such as Chaplin and Clooney? Yes, Mr. Chevron himself:
