I hope you're well. I just had 2 quick questions for you. I just happened upon this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pP7JbP9- ... re=related while wandering about YouTube and was wondering what recording this is. I don't think I've heard it before...

Secondly, I was messing about with my acoustic guitar and started trying to play Faithful Departed... I started off with C, Am for most of the verse with a G, C thrown in for the (say) "heaven or in hell" part. I was just wondering what you use for the chorus...

As always, your help is greatly appreciated.

Much love,

John C.

Sounds to me like the BBC Bringing It All Back Home recording produced by Donal Lunny.

That suit was a great disappointment to me. Beautifully cut, but the pattern was never bold enough to work on stage and the light fabric meant it had to be pressed before every single wear. Cost a bloody packet too. But at least I got to follow, however briefly, in a venerable line of Irish entertainers dressed by Louis Copeland.

Chorus of FD starts in C and goes to G minor on "departed", Am on "We the meek-hearted", then F for "as you are" Em on "now", back to F for "so once were" ending on G for "we"
