One of my stocking fillers was the book U2 on U2 which contains this interesting little passage from Sir Bono: "I was genuinely looking for something different, I think a lot of people were. And then I remember hearing The Radiators from Space. They were Ireland's first punk band. They had a single that went 'I'm gonna put my telecaster throught the television screen because I don't like what's going on' When I heard it my ears pricked up....this is the kind of shit I like.'
