Which guitar are you playing in it? The guitar and keyboards give the "old" sound to the song. 8)

Nah, a bed in the Bexar County Jail costs $95 a night. Guitars on "Trouble Pilgrim"? I think it's my Fender Telecaster doubled up with my Rickenbacker 12-string Electric, and I'm pretty sure Pete's playing a Telecaster as well on it. The organ is an old Vox Continental played in homage to Augie Meyers. The 60s American "Nuggets" bands, like Count Five, 13th Floor Elevators, Sir Douglas Quintet, Electric Prunes, the Seeds etc were in many ways as much an influence on the Radiators as Marc Bolan, David Bowie, New York Dolls, Flaming Groovies, Roxy Music, the Ramones and Kurt Weill, but we sort of skipped the album where that would be apparent in order to make the more cinematic Ghostown.

Let me get back to you on that. I certainly hope so, we can hardly wait to play the new songs live.

Yours is somehow a compilation of all. If that makes any sense.

I like it. 8) :D

Yes, it makes sense. Did you notice the San Antonio reference in the lyrics?

The year was young
and I had just done hibernatin'
I woke up in a $50 bed

It's still acting up but I got to listen to Heaven a couple of times. Nice opener to the album, I look forward to hearing it. :!:

Cheers.

Myspace's songs are sometimes gone. It's Micro$oft so...

I did hear Trouble Pilgrim last night and liked it

Anything to do with the interweb and the Radiators, Pete is yer man, quite apart from being the best producer and lead guitarist in Irish punk rock. "Heaven" is one of Pete's songs, making it all the more frustrating that "Trouble Pilgrim" can't be heard as that's one of mine, and you need to get my beast to his beauty to "get" a Radiators album. Anyway, yes, he is persisting in his wrestle with the download facility.

Pete Holidai has a blog comment somewhere that he is having trouble with downloads but is persisting.

I really enjoyed "Heaven". Very melodic. I can't seem to get "Trouble Pilgrim" to play- my computer's playing up again.

I concur. 'Heaven' has a really nice cadence to it... and I also had difficulties downloading/streaming/accessing the other soundbyte. Oh well, I can just look forward to buying the album sometime soon, hopefully.
