I hear the last verse as this, most notably the gaslight light line.

Frog’s at sunset, blues in the night
Kissed by the river in the pale moonlight
The words of the poets roll to the sight
Beneath the moon’s eye and the neon light
Bathed in the glow of an old gas light
Sitting alone it’s a wonderful life
Take me in your arms and hold you tight
Lost in the stars with the satellites, now
