That was my second show by the duo. This time I took Sarah with me. The support act sounded pretty bad (music and sound) with an annoying singer trying to speak english... After an hour the spook has been over and Jem & Bob entered the stage. To kick of the show with a funny song called "the things we like to do".
Think they played for about 80-90 min. Mainly songs from their album "Bum Steer" which they released last year. Lou (short for loser), the "Cuntrey"-song and "How can evil go that far" (about the future former president of the USA) were highlights!
Bob played drums, guitar and harmonica while Jem varied between Banjo, Guitar, Lap-Steel and Sax.
The audience (ca. 30) consisted mainly of older folks who went out for a bit of culture on a wednesday evening. Sarah and me definatly reduced the average age of the audience ;-)
After the show we had a nice conversation with Jem. He was very tired cos he drove a very long distance that day. A very nice man and true gentleman!! Thanks a lot for that great evening!

Catch them if you can!!! You won't regret it!

How cool is that?? They play in Schorndorf which is 10 minutes away from where I live!!!
