Hensley's Flying Elephant Pub & Grill is the location of interest in this particular chain of internet musings. It's owned by the accordion player for Flogging Molly, Matt Hensley. Good for young and old alike, leans toward the tattoier of folks, wait staff especially. A great place for live music, although I've only experienced if from the stage side.

James will be joining Spider at Hensley's this Thursday, playing with Filthy Thieving Bastards. Hensley's is a fantastic place to see a show; the room's not very big, so you're right there no matter where in the room you're at; the staff kicks arse, and the food is really good. We've played there twice now and it's quickly become one of our favorite spots.

There's been a bit of confusion about whether or not Cranky George is playing Sunday 14th or Saturday 13th at Matt Hensley's Flying Elephant in Carlsbad, CA.

Cranky George will be playing Saturday 13th, at 8.00pm

Flying Elephant is just off the 5 Freeway in Carlsbad on Tamarack Ave - No. 850.
