James!

Can I get on some kind of mailing list or something so I won't miss you next time you're in NYC? I never got to see any of your Post-Pogues projects...yet!

The same with you Phil, with the Radiators.

And you too, Spider!

:)

Do you ever play gigs with other bands in NY?

I've seen Sarah Vowell (on book jackets,) but I don't think I'd know for sure that I'd seen her unless/until I'd heard her voice.

Everyone I saw and recognized has been mentioned. But I'm not much of a star gazer, so there were very possibly others that fell outside the scope of people I would know.

What about One name Identified By Dozen Faces?
I anticipate a confusion provoked some day by real M.R. Well, maybe I won't have this tag / utter that war-call. For diversity...

My own small party, which included the musical theatre star Caroline O'Connor, had a great time.
I feel such the heel. After our brief conversation (and the two words I exchanged with Ms. O'Connor) I dashed to catch a cab back to the hotel. I didn't even wait for a proper introduction (both an urgent need to get some sleep, and a desire not to make a pest of myself, conspired to make me a complete jerk.) Please do extend my apologies to her if you have the chance, and I hope that I'll have the opportunity to redress later this week.
And DZM, please wear an ID Tag with your name on it next time. That way, there's a fighting chance I won't have to google my brain cells and come up with the confusing result: Two Names Identified But Only One Face. The Command Cannot Be Completed. Please Reboot.
You're not the only one that had that confused look.

Next time - Name tag. "Hi! My name is MacRua."

Thanks to the Cranky George Trio (Dermot Mulroney: "The fifth member of the band has arrived, the Trio is complete") for a great show. Audience included most of the Pogues, Mrs Fearnley, Mrs Finer, your very own DZM, and Steve Pyke.

My own small party, which included the musical theatre star Caroline O'Connor, had a great time. I think Caroline, who has yet to see the Pogues live, now has an impression of us as a Northern English/West Coast of America conglomerate of fallen Quakers and love-destroyed Humberside Sailors. Which, in a very real sense......we are.

So disappointed I won't be able to make the NY show but due to my terrible fear of flying, I will wait patiently for CGT to play again at Molly's on the 24th of March. Maybe the songs you didn't get to perform coz you were shorted time last week, you can do on the 24th? Can't wait to hear these new songs. Had a great time last week regardless of the rain and the 3 hour drive. It was well worth it. As always, CGT was fantastic.

An hour is all we know to do. We were cut short at Molly's the other week. Didn't know we were booked for just threequarters of an hour and had to drop a couple of songs, and the ones I'd been woodshedding too. See you later.

Thank you for the update on the time of the show. Will you be playing for the normal hour, or longer? See you then.
