Just finished reading James' amazing book, second time around. What can we do at the moment, there's bugger all happening with the band just now so reading the books are as good (sometimes) as listening to the albums. I think that James might have deliberately left an avenue for him to continue his story as the bit after Shane left is not there. James foreword for the fans book by Calum Bruce is short but wonderfully written. I just want more. And I want a gig or two as well. Is that too much to ask?
Even if James did not fancy doing another book, I'd really love to hear what it was like for him, after Shane, with Strummer, and of course, when he himself, called it a day. Maybe an addition to his blog thing on this website, would enlighten us, on this particular period of Pogues history. I, for one, would just love some of that.
