haha... yeah... When you join the Boggards they issue you an embarrassing nickname... Like Scroat or Bunghole... At least since I wear a mostly white costume I can explain mine to my mother. (I'm round and white!)

Ooo! Sounds pretty good. I'm in the middle of my Ren. Faire run with my band but if I have the energy I'll be there.

Meanwhile, we're playing in Monrovia at the Brass Elephant Bar on the 6th.

Soon there were leaks in the accordion. It was a nice one but it's vintage so I started looking around for a place to take it in. The closest (and best) place is Dave's Accordion school up off Glendale Ave. near the Los Feliz district. Braving traffic I brought my borrowed accordion in to Dave for repairs and a bit of a tune up.

There's metered parking out front and I was lucky enough for there to be a few minutes left so I could drop off my box without dropping any of my hard-earned cents into the meter.

I went inside, jawwed with Dave and his student at the time and mentioned James Fearnly. "He was just here!" "What?" "He just left right before you came in!"

My car was sitting there enjoying his time on the parking meter. Had I not stopped for food I would've been able to meet the man who finally got me to pick up the instrument. Argh!

Had to vent. None of my friends understand my frustration.

That must be an awful feeling, I'd be gutted too.
